PEACE-Air Partner Focus
At the PEACE-Air kick-off meeting held in Banbridge in September, Professor Jurgita Ovadnevaite introduced her research expertise in atmospheric science and discussed the importance of air quality and aerosol research in understanding environmental impacts. She highlighted the role of scientific evidence in informing policy and supporting effective decision-making.
This first in-person meeting of the PEACE-Air partnership brought together project partners and experts to launch the project’s collaborative work on air pollution and related environmental challenges. It marks an important milestone for this first-of-its-kind all-island project focused on air quality. Attention now turns to the official project launch taking place in Letterkenny in January 2026.
